Congress is not responsible for our national debt – the Federal Reserve Bank is. No Federal Reserve=No National Debt.
The federal reserve system increases our national debt by printing the money congress needs out of thin air. Congress then promises to pay back this created money (our national debt). This newly printed money is then fed back into the market and drives up prices (inflation), which hurts people like you and me.
We need to abolish the federal reserve system and get back to currency that is backed by hard commodities.
